Step-by-Step Working Principle


1. Material Feeding (30° Inclined System)

  • The machine uses a 30° inclined feeding mechanism to guide cylindrical blanks (prepared rods or wire cut-offs) into the rolling station.

  • This angle ensures smooth entry, better alignment, and reduced vibration during high-speed operation.

2. Thread Rolling Dies Engagement

  • Once the blank is positioned between two rotating thread rolling dies, they begin to close around it.

  • These dies are engraved with the inverse profile of the desired thread form.

3. Cold Plastic Deformation

  • As the dies rotate and apply high pressure, the material surface undergoes plastic deformation.

  • Metal flows into the grooves of the dies, gradually forming accurate external threads without removing any material.

4. Synchronized Motion for Precision

  • The motion of the dies is synchronized to ensure even pressure and consistent thread geometry across the full length of the screw (up to 38 mm).

  • CNC or PLC control systems maintain tight tolerances and adapt to different thread types (metric, UNC, UNF, etc.).

5. Finished Product Ejection

  • After the rolling cycle completes, the formed screw is ejected from the machine.

  • Optional automatic sorting and collection systems can be integrated for continuous production.
